Sarina Mohammadi (She/Her)
Co-Campus Director, York University - Keele Campus
Sarina is in her fourth year of Commerce Management. Her favourite part about Peace by PEACE is spending time with her little PXP family and making memories together. This year, she’s most excited to grow as a leader, challenge herself, and get to know everyone on the team!
Kathy Zhao (She/Her)
Co-Campus Director, York University - Keele Campus
Kathy is currently in the Concurrent Education program and entering her second year of her Bachelor of Education. This marks her fourth year with Peace by PEACE. She values the program for the many opportunities it offers to learn alongside peers, mentors, and students in the classroom. Her favourite part of being involved is contributing to a welcoming and inclusive community. Kathy is excited to work with Sarina, her Co-Director, and Executive Team to further strengthen the program’s impact and continue fostering meaningful learning experiences!

Mabel Lee Luo(She/Her)
Curriculum Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Mabel is in her third year, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. This is her second year with Peace by PEACE (having served as a Mentor in her first year) as a Curriculum Director. She is thrilled to be a part of the team developing an engaging and interactive curriculum that makes learning conflict-resolution fun, enjoyable, and meaningful for students!
Rachel Tang (She/Her)
Curriculum Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Rachel is in her fourth year of the Specialized Honours B.A. Psychology program at York University, Keele Campus. She has been working with children for years, starting off from helping out in the kindergarten room in elementary school, to hoping to pursue a career as a children and youth clinical/counselling psychologist! This will be her second year being involved with Peace by PEACE, and is looking forward to how mentors will make the curriculum their own in their individual, special ways. She hopes to be a pillar of support in this organization and to build meaningful connections with everyone this year.
Pravraj Kaur (She/Her)
Schools Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Pravraj is in her third year of the Educational Studies program and is excited to be returning to Peace by Peace for her second year. She is passionate about supporting students, building meaningful connections, and creating positive learning environments. This year, she is most excited to meet new mentors, collaborate with them, and make a positive impact in schools. She looks forward to sharing the knowledge and experience she has gained to help guide and support fellow mentors while also learning from their unique perspectives and experiences. Pravraj is excited for another year of growth, collaboration, and making a difference in the community.
Bianca Couto Oliveira (She/Her)
Schools Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Bianca is in her fourth year of Educational Studies at York University and is pursuing a career in Junior/Intermediate education. After starting her journey with Peace by PEACE as a mentor and joining the executive team last year, she is excited to take on the role of Schools Co-Director. Her favourite part about Peace by PEACE is working alongside such a passionate and supportive team while creating meaningful experiences for students. This year, she is most excited to build strong relationships with schools, support the growth of the program, and bring Peace by PEACE's initiatives to even more students.
Stella Chan (She/Her)
Festival Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Stella Chan, a third year Honours Psychology student, is a creative and cheerful individual that thrives on building connections. With a passion for fashion, Stella aims to inspire others to always walk with confidence despite any hardships being thrown their way. She admires how dedicated Peace By PEACE is to creating a positive and uplifting community and is very grateful to be part of the initiative. This year, Stella is excited to work behind the scenes to curate an unforgettable Festival experience and make new memories along the way. With her on your side, your journey will always be shining brightly!
Ashvin Tharsan (He/Him)
Festival Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Ashvin is in his fourth year of Law & Society and Concurrent Education. This is his third year with Peace by PEACE, having served as a mentor for the past two years. His favourite part is watching children discover their own voices, build empathy, and navigate challenges in a supportive, creative space. This year, as Festival Director, he looks forward to designing the final week of curriculum and collaborating with a passionate team, uniting the entire PxP community for a joyful, memorable day.
Nathan Grapilon (He/Him)
Fundraising Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Nathan is currently in his fourth year of Social Work. His favorite part of Peace by Peace has been learning how the experiences, lessons, and practices we have explored can be applied not only to his future occupation but also to his everyday life. This year, Nathan is especially excited to meet new people, mentors, and co-directors and witness the personal and collective growth of everyone involved in this organization.
Heath Leone (He/Him)
Fundraising Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
A fourth year biochemistry student, Heath Leone is excited to explore novel fundraising ideas and grants this year. Also a former Professional Development Director, he hopes to apply his knowledge gained from Peace by PEACE to realize success in his future career in drug discovery.
Stephanie Bajwa (She/Her)
Marketing Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Stephanie is in her fourth year of Psychology and Human Resource Management at York University. This is her second year with the Peace by PEACE program. She enjoys program delivery and ensuring a positive and encouraging environment for every child. The first year she served as a mentor and throughly enjoyed the experience, inspiring her to take on a more involved position. As a Marketing Director this year, she plans to encourage others through striving for more engagement with the program. She is excited expand her skills, meet new people and have fun with Peace by Peace this year.
Ekjot Jassal (She/Her)
Marketing Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Ekjot is a fourth-year student in the Honours Psychology program at York University and is entering her third year with Peace by PEACE. After previously serving as Executive Schools Director, she is excited to take on the role of Marketing Director. Through her previous role, she helped expand Peace by PEACE's partnerships with new schools, inspiring her passion for increasing the organization's reach. This year, she looks forward to sharing Peace by PEACE's impact, strengthening community engagement, and encouraging more students to get involved.
Dawn Casia (She/Her)
Peace Ball Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Dawn is in her fourth year of English Studies at York University and hopes to pursue a career in teaching. This is her third year volunteering for Peace by PEACE. Her favourite part about Peace by PEACE is working with passionate and like-minded people who are dedicated to empowering students and making a positive impact in their lives. This year, Dawn is most excited about giving back as an exec, supporting mentors, building meaningful connections, and helping create unforgettable experiences, especially by organizing the most memorable Peaceball event.
Thanusha Satheeskumar (She/Her)
Peace Ball Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Thanusha is currently in her third year of her Bachelors of Arts in Criminology and history. This will be her second year volunteering with Peace by Peace. She is excited for her role as peaceball director and is looking forward to working with her fellow execs and mentors! Through her experience as a mentor, she was able to her refine her leadership and communication skills, something that she plans to continue doing as an exec. She looks forward to seeing the PxP community grow.
Kirsten Monroe (She/Her)
Finance Director, York University - Keele Campus
Kirsten is in her fourth year studying Biochemistry. This is her second year with Peace by PEACE, and she is excited to serve as the Finance Director. She enjoys being part of such a dedicated and supportive team that is passionate about making a difference in the community. This year, she looks forward to managing the organization's finances and helping ensure the team has the resources to continue empowering students and creating a lasting impact.

Jannatul Fardusi (She/Her)
Professional Development Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Jannatul is currently studying Children, Childhood, and Youth Studies at York University. This is her fourth year with the Peace by PEACE program. As a Professional Development Director this year, Jannatul is committed to assisting volunteers to develop themselves not only as individuals but also as professionals through offering them opportunities for learning and creating an inclusive environment. She is excited to meet all the new Mentors, make new connections, and make an impact in Peace by PEACE this year!
Harrish Santhuruselvan (He/Him)
Professional Development Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Harrish is in his 4th year of Law and Society. His favourite part about PXP is the open, healthy space for personal-oriented and/or career-oriented growth and the collaborative support that's available for carrying out the PXP mission of making a positive difference in the lives of children, giving them the tools they need to resolve conflict and build a stronger community. This year, he is thrilled to bring professional opportunities that help promote PXP and improve mentors professionally during placement.
Shukri Alim (She/Her)
Organizational Development Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Shukri is in her final year of Psychology and is entering her fourth year with Peace by PEACE. Throughout her year with the organization, she has learned the importance of empowering youth by fostering meaningful conversations, building inclusive communities, and creating safe spaces for growth. She is grateful for the relationships and experiences Peace by PEACE has brought into her life and looks forward to continuing to inspire our youth and pursuing opportunities to make a lasting, positive impact.
Kate Hua (She/Her)
Organizational Development Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Kate is a 2nd year student majoring in Neuroscience and Concurrent Education at York University. This is her second year with Peace By PEACE. As a mentor, she discovered the importance of creating inclusive spaces where every child feels heard. Now, thrilled to be an ODD, she aims to design experiences that strengthen connections within the Peace By PEACE community. Kate hopes to help a diverse array of mentors, executives, and others feel prepared and confident in their growth. She looks forward to working with a super driven, passionate team to spread a mission she cares for!!
Anisha Baptiste Joseph (She/Her)
Mentors Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Anisha is a second year Children, Childhood and Youth Studies and Concurrent Education student. As a dedicated student, Anisha aspires to become an elementary school teacher. This is her second year with Peace by PEACE, however her first year as part of the executive team! She loves the strong sense of community and belonging Peace by PEACE provides and hopes to strengthen this for current mentors alongside enhancing invaluable student experience. This year, Anisha is thrilled to form connections with mentors, make students feel appreciated, and further the impact of Peace by PEACE!
Manvi Mahindra (She/Her)
Mentors Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Manvi is currently a third-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Her favourite part about Peace by PEACE is the opportunity to contribute to a community that fosters growth and development among children in a fun and collaborative environment. She is passionate about working with youth and helping them develop essential skills to navigate challenges. Manvi is thrilled to be a Mentors Director this year and work alongside her peers to support both mentors and students!
Esta Yuen (She/Her)
Mentors Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Esta is a 3rd year in the Concurrent Education program. Her journey with Peace by PEACE has brought her through a year as a mentor and a year as a Festival Director but her favourite part about Peace by PEACE remains the same; the ability to connect with others who have similar beliefs that align with the Peace by PEACE mission. She also enjoys the idea of helping young people traverse through their lives in peaceful ways. This year, she is most excited about working with her fellow execs and creating a memorable environment for both the students and mentors!
