Christine Kwong (She/Her)

Co-Campus Director, York University - Keele Campus

Christine is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education with a major in Law & Society. This is her fourth year with Peace by PEACE. She is excited to see the positive impact the program has on students, mentors, and the community. Christine looks forward to working with a passionate team and meeting new people. What she appreciates most about Peace by PEACE are the meaningful connections that form, creating a big family within the community.

Julianne Marcellana (She/Her)

Co-Campus Director, York University - Keele Campus

Julianne is currently a 5th year student majoring in Biology at York University Campus. This will be her fourth year volunteering for PEACE by PEACE and through this program, she discovered her passion in teaching and making a positive impact in her community. In her role as Campus Director, she looks forward to strengthening her leadership skills by embracing new challenges and exploring impactful ways to equip and empower her team of executives and mentors in their roles within the program.

Aryana Casciaro (She/her)

Curriculum Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies with a certificate in Educational Development
Aryana is currently in her fourth year, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies with a certificate in Educational Development. This is her third year with Peace by PEACE, and she is thrilled to be a Curriculum Director. She enjoys how rewarding it is to be a part of the Peace by PEACE team, and to work alongside others who are committed to empowering the children in the community. This year, she looks forward to refining the curriculum to be even more impactful!

Vince Nathaniel Ramos (He/Him)

Curriculum Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Vince is currently in his 2nd year of Educational Studies. His favourite part about Peace by PEACE is its drive to educate the younger generation, as well as all the wonderful people he has met along the way in Peace by PEACE that have shared the same mindset and drive to teach young minds about a positive message. This year, Vince is super excited about working on the curriculum and is ecstatic about being an executive for Peace by PEACE.

Sabrina Chong (She/Her)

Schools Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Sabrina is in her 2nd year of Children, Childhood and Youth and Concurrent Education at York University's Keele Campus. Her favourite part of Peace by PEACE is contributing to the growth within young students as they build empathy and develop essential life skills that empower them to navigate difficult challenges. This year, she is most excited to build new connections and work alongside like-minded peers!

Ekjot Jassal (She/Her)

Schools Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Ekjot is in her third year of Psychology at York University. Her favourite part about Peace By PEACE is being given the chance to teach students directly. She also enjoys the opportunity to work with peers and teachers to help contribute to a warm and welcoming organization! Ekjot looks forward to a year working with new PXP peers, mentors, and students!

Rose Ranji (She/Her)

Festival Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Rose is a third year psychology major. She has spent three years with Peace by PEACE, first as a mentor, then a curriculum director, and now a festival director. She loves working with children and hopes to go into counselling one day! This year, she is most excited to get to know all of the new members of the Peace by PEACE community.

Esta Yuen (She/Her)

Festival Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Esta is a 2nd year in the Concurrent Education program. Her favourite part about Peace by PEACE is how she can connect with others with similar beliefs that align with the Peace by PEACE mission. She also enjoys the idea of helping young people traverse through their lives in peaceful ways. This year, she is most excited about working with her fellow execs and creating a memorable environment for both the students and mentors!

Katrina Pantelidou (She/Her)

Fundraising Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Katrina is in her 4th year of French & Concurrent Education at York. She is also entering her 4th year at Peace by PEACE! Her favourite part about PXP is building community between our campus and elementary schools around Toronto. This year she is looking forward to continuing to grow the program as one of the Fundraising Directors :)

Sarina is in her third year of Commerce management. Her favorite part about PxP is getting to know new people and working with them as a team. This year, she is most excited about challenging her skills and learning from the experience.

Malak Elghobashy (She/Her)

Marketing Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Malak is in her 3rd year of English and Professional Writing. She enjoys interacting with students and fostering a sense of belonging. Her favourite part about PxP is the ability to make an impact beyond the classroom and provide students with an opportunity to reach their potential. This year, she looks forward to cultivating her skills to make an impact beyond the classroom, through marketing.

This is Nathan's 3rd year with PxP. He is happy to once again be back to support a community and mission he cares for! This year, Nathan is most excited to document all of PxP's adventures and present & show the emotions in those events as best as he can.

Nicolette Ho (She/Her)

Peace Ball Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Currently in her 2nd year of Educational Studies/Con Ed, Nicolette finds great joy in the peace by PEACE program. Among the many parts of PXP she appreciates, her two most favorites are connecting with new people and gaining hands-on experience teaching in an elementary school setting. Nicolette is especially excited about collaborating with her new team to organize an AMAZING Peaceball event!

Jeanella Johnaly (She/Her)

Peace Ball Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Jeanella is currently pursuing a degree in Professional Writing at York University’s Keele Campus. She is excited about the growth of Peace by Peace family and she finds the experience of working with children especially meaningful, and considers the opportunity to be able to positively impact the future generation of leaders to be inspiring and rewarding.

Arianna Chiavuzzo (She/Her)

Finance Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Arianna is in her 2nd year of Kinesiology and Health Science (BSc) at York University. This is her second year volunteering with Peace by PEACE. Her favourite part about PxP is interacting and building connections with fellow volunteers, as well as the students we teach. She appreciates the community that is created through PxP. Arianna hopes to have a great year and make an impact on participating schools and students.

Finance Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Bianca is in her 3rd year of Educational Studies at York University. Her favourite part about Peace by PEACE is working alongside such a passionate and supportive team. She enjoys contributing to the behind-the-scenes work that helps the program run smoothly. This year, she is most excited to take on a larger role in budgeting and finance to help create a lasting impact and ensure the team’s initiatives are sustainable and well-supported.

Heath Leone (He/Him)

Professional Development Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Heath, an aspiring public health researcher, is in his 3rd year of Biochemistry. He enjoys baking, spending time with friends, and exploring new topics—among them linguistics, health policy, bioremediation, and pharmaceutical science. He hopes to provide future mentors with invaluable skills this year through the hosting of workshops and the implementation of research in Peace by Peace’s operations.
Well-aligned with his future passions, he plans to analyze quantitative and qualitative data on the curriculum’s effectiveness to foster future improvements.

Simran Pama (She/Her)

Professional Development Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Simran is a fourth-year Honours student double majoring in Biology and Psychology. This is her third year with Peace by PEACE, where she previously served as Fundraising Director. Her favourite part about PxP is helping mentors feel confident and prepared going into placement. This year, she is most excited to build deeper connections with fellow mentors and continue creating a supportive space for everyone!

Harrish Santhuruselvan (He/Him)

Organizational Development Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Harrish is in his 3rd year of Law and Society. His favourite part about PXP is the open, healthy space for personal-oriented and/or career-oriented growth and the collaborative support that's available for carrying out the PXP mission of making a positive difference in the lives of children, giving them the tools they need to resolve conflict and build a stronger community. This year, he is thrilled to engage students in the organization and promote the club through fun events and activities, spreading the goal of Peace by PEACE.

Vanessa Marques (She/Her)

Organizational Development Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Vanessa is a dedicated and compassionate individual who loves working with children and animals. With aspirations and career goal of supporting children on the spectrum, she finds purpose in community initiatives like Peace by PEACE. Whether volunteering at a local cat shelter or helping youth, Vanessa brings empathy and heart to everything she does.

Jannatul Fardusi (She/Her)

Mentors Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Jannatul is in her fourth year of Children, Childhood and Youth Studies at York University. This is her third year with the Peace by PEACE program. Through the Peace by PEACE program, she enjoys creating safe and engaging spaces where children feel heard and empowered. As a Mentors Director this year, she plans to not only make the same impact with the students but also with the mentors. She is excited to meet all the new Mentors, make new connections, and make an impact in Peace by PEACE this year!

Mentors Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Nathan is currently in his third year of Social Work. His favorite part of Peace by Peace has been learning how the experiences, lessons, and practices we have explored can be applied not only to his future occupation but also to his everyday life. This year, Nathan is especially excited to meet new people, mentors, and co-directors and witness the personal and collective growth of everyone involved in this organization.

Neeta Rambarack (She/Her)

Mentors Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus

Neeta is the Mentors Director at Peace by Peace and is currently in her third year studying Physical Health and Movement at York University. She oversees the recruitment, training, and support of mentors. Neeta is passionate about creating spaces where young people feel heard, supported, and empowered. She’s especially excited to work with this year’s new mentors and see the impact they’ll make.
