Yandi Hu (she/her)

Campus Director, University of Toronto 

Yandi is in her 4th year of the Rotman Commerce program specializing in management. She is excited to working with a group of passionate, goal driven individual and creating value for the youth community in the GTA. She looks forward to making meaningful impact to youth education by devoting her time and commitment to every bit of her work.

Executive Assistant, University of Toronto

Jason is going into his second year at Rotman commerce, he is excited to take on the leadership position, dedicate his time to the program and engage with a team of passionate individuals. He looks forward to deliver meaningful projects, and developing valuable connections with the people he met.

Somya is this year's co-executive assistant! She's doing a double major in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies and is looking forward to working with Peace by PEACE again this year on the exec team as well as teaching! She loves working with and mentoring children in her free time.

Angel, a driven individual in their second year, is thrilled about joining Peace by Peace (PXP) as the Finance Director. With a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail, Angel looks forward to utilizing her financial expertise to contribute to PXP's mission of promoting peace and harmony. She is excited about collaborating with a dedicated team, developing effective financial strategies, and ensuring transparency in financial operation.

Jeevandeep Bajwa (she/her)

Jeevan is in her fourth year doing a double major in Environmental Ethics and Equity Studies. Having previously served as a PeacebyPeace mentor, she is excited to take on the opportunity to lead as school director. She looks forward to working alongside the rest of the team.

Sonia Beres (she/her)

Curriculum Director, University of Toronto

Sonia is in her 3rd year studying political science, peace, conflict and justice, and religion. She is most excited to be working with others to update the curriculum with new activities, and focus on accessibility and inclusion. When she isn't doing PXP things, she's listening to Taylor Swift, catching up on reading, or cuddling her cats.

Festival Director, University of Toronto

Maria is a third year psychology student who's excited to use her creativity to come up with a fun and meaningful festival. She is looking forward to combining her previous experience with PXP and other volunteer work to help make this year's PXP festival a memorable experience for students across the GTA.

Shehza Imtiaz (she/her)

Marketing Director, University of Toronto

Shehza is in her fourth year of the Commerce program. She is looking forward to handling her chapter’s Instagram account, assisting in spreading Peace by Peace's message and further establishing the club's identity on social media. While fufilling the responsibilities of the role, she is also enthusiastic to engage with like-minded individuals and challenge herself creatively.

Jinyi "Caroline" Wang (she/her)

Marketing Director, University of Toronto

Caroline is in her second year of the Commerce program. She is very excited to deploy her marketing skills to further create highlights for the team and aspires to build a strong team dynamic with the members she will be working with. Given an opportunity to take on a co-marketing director role, she will be learning constantly from other members to obtain more experiences.

Candace Hua (she/her)

Fundraising Director, University of Toronto

Candy is in her second year at UofT double majoring in Political Science and International Relations, and minoring in History. She is committed to promoting conflict resolution and peacebuilding initiatives among elementary students. Candy believes that conflict resolution in schools is crucial as it develops essential life skills and sets the foundation for healthy relationships and effective conflict management in adulthood. She is passionate about social issues and loves to volunteer and give back to the community in her free time!

Clarissa is in her second year of the English program. She is excited to work with the team, create a positive impact, and share her passion for learning with others. She is thrilled to be a part of this year’s Peace by PEACE team and cannot wait to see the incredible changes that it fosters within the community.

Professional Development Director, University of Toronto

Harshita is in her second year of life sciences pursuing a double major in Human Biology and Physiology with an Immunology minor. Her hobbies include character design and dancing. She is looking forward to working with this wonderful team and creating an impact in GTA classroom conditions!

Volunteer Director, University of Toronto

Charlene is in her second year, pursuing a double major in Statistics and Mathematics. Having an interest in community-building and social justice, she looks forward to fostering youth empowerment and creating a positive impact within school communities with the Peace by PEACE exec team. Charlene is also excited to meet new people through her position as Volunteer Director!

Siya is a third-year student at the University of Toronto, majoring in Economics and Mathematics. With two years of experience working with Peace by Peace, Siya is thrilled to be part of the passionate team once again. She believes in the impact the program has on communities across the GTA by equipping young minds with effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
