Campus Director
Nancy is in her 3rd year of French Studies, Visual Arts, and Concurrent Education. She truly believes in the value of Peace by PEACE's curriculum, and her favourite part of the program is seeing students have fun during the celebratory wrap-up session, Festival! This year she's looking forward to connect with new people, continue to improve the program, and make a lasting impact on students!

Sammi Corpuz (they/them/elle)
Executive Assistant
Sammi is in their second year in French Studies and Concurrent Education. As an aspiring teacher, Sammi's been searching for ways to support the next generations, so they are beyond joyous to serve PxP this year. Sammi's favourite part about PxP is witnessing its impact, through the teachers’ and students’ infectious smiles. This year, Sammi's looking forward to creating more memories inside the classroom with the kiddos and outside the classroom with their PxP members!

Olivia Gallo (she/her/elle)
Executive Assistant
Olivia is in her fourth year at Glendon studying psychology. This will be Olivia's fourth year a part of the PxP team, and her favourite thing about PxP is how tight-knit it feels. It's a judgment-free space, where a difference is made in people's lives. This year, Olivia is most excited about the Peace Ball and supporting the mentors as well as the Campus Director.

Aden Ally (he/him/il)
Schools Director
Aden is in his 3rd year of French Studies with a double-major in Music. This is Aden's second year as schools director for the Glendon chapter and he is very excited to have the position once again. He is looking forward to building strong connections with like-minded people across the tri-campus as he looks to pursue teacher's college after his undergrad.

Julianna Alaguena (she/her/elle)
Schools Director
Julianna greatly values how Peace by PEACE introduces empathy, conflict resolution, and self-worth early, equipping students with tools and language to navigate life’s challenges. During her two years as a mentor, her favourite part was seeing shy students become confident collaborators through creative, play-based learning in a supportive environment. Now, as an executive, Julianna is eager to support new mentors and strengthen school partnerships to bring the program to the youth who need it most. At Glendon, she is studying for a trilingual International Bachelors of Arts with a Discipline of Teaching English as an International Language (D-TEIL) certificate.

Julie Chan (she/her/elle)
Curriculum Director
Julie is entering her third year in the Specialized Honours Bachelor of Science program for psychology with a concentration in Child & Youth Development. This is her second year as a Curriculum Director and third year with Peace by PEACE (her first year was as a mentor). She loves being able to help foster healthy, strong social connections among youth through this program. This year, she hopes to make the curriculum even more engaging and inclusive.

Kaylee Lie (she/her/elle)
French Translation Director
Kaylee is in her 3rd year in the French Studies Concurrent Education program at Glendon. She was previously a mentor for 2 years, and is excited to join the executive team this year as a French Translator. Kaylee is looking forward to collaborating with her fellow execs and using her skills to improve the French curriculum.

French Translation Director
As a bilingual student at Glendon, Sami is excited to join the translation team of Peace by PEACE to help make our work available to francophone communities in Toronto. They are a third year student majoring in International Studies and minoring in Statistics, and their favourite part of PxP is their commitment to accessibility in equipping all children with tools to resolve conflict and manage negative emotions.

Hazel Smit (she/her/elle)
French Translation Director
Hazel is in her 2nd year in the Professional Translation program with Concurrent Education at Glendon College. As a first time member of Peace by PEACE, she looks forward to immersing herself in this community and learning more about the goals and procedures of the organization. As an Executive French Translator, Hazel hopes to bring a new perspective to curriculum translation and hone her translation and linguistic skills.

Finance Director
Katarina is in her third year at Glendon majoring in Business Economics with a minor in French Studies. This is her first year on the executive team at Peace by Peace and she is highly looking forward to making an impact within her role as Finance Director!

Shannon Lall (she/her/elle)
Marketing Director
Shannon is a bilingual student at the Glendon campus of York University, pursuing the Discipline in Teaching English as an International Language (D-TEIL) Certificate while simultaneously being in the French Studies & Concurrent Education program. Having mentored last year, she understands and values the importance of teaching Peace by PEACE's conflict-resolution and community-building curriculum to young, developing minds. She cannot wait to contribute to another exciting and memorable year.

Isabella is in her second year of French Studies. It’s her second year with PxP and her first year as an executive member. As a PxP mentor, Isabella enjoys teaching students while learning new things from them. As an executive member this year, she is looking forward to meeting new people and creating a memorable festival.

Crystal Lam (she/her/elle)
Festival Director
Crystal is in her third year in the French Studies program with a minor in Mathematics. Her favourite part about Peace by Peace is gaining real-life experience working within a classroom and getting to connect with students while gaining valuable conflict resolution skills. She is excited to create an engaging festival curriculum to celebrate all the hard work of students, mentors, and executives accumulated throughout the year!

Rheanna is in her third year of Psychology and is also in the Concurrent Education program. This is her third year in Peace by PEACE and she looks forward to creating new experiences with the Exec team, as well as seeing the mentors' progress throughout the year!

Isabelle is in her third year of French Studies and Psychology. She has always had a passion for teaching kids and her favourite part about Peace by PEACE is being able to meet experience different classroom dynamics and getting to teach in a team. This year, she is most excited to work on planning new and exciting events and connecting with more people around campus.

Professional Development Director
Sarah is in her third year of French Studies and History at Glendon. After joining Peace by PEACE as a mentor in her first year, she fell in love with the program and its mission. Sarah is super excited to return to her role as the Professional Development Director this year, and help mentors prepare to spread the gift of PxP with our students :)

Mentors Director
Alex is in his fourth year, with a major in French Studies at Glendon, and a minor in studio arts at Keele, with a goal to go to teachers college soon. Some of his favorite parts of Peace by PEACE as a mentor have included connecting with students and modifying lesson plans to better fit students' needs. As a mentors director, he is looking forward to meeting new people and supporting mentors!

Mentors Director
Gillian is in her final year of a double major in Translation (French-English Stream) and French Studies. Her favourite part about Peace by PEACE is interacting with executives and mentors during meetings and office hours, and seeing everyone work together throughout the program. This year, she is excited to support the mentor team in teaching the Peace by PEACE activities to students so that they can learn while having fun.
