Alex Bugeja (He/Him)
Co-Campus Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Alex is going into his first year of the Bachelor of Education program at Glendon, with an undergrad in French studies and a minor in visual arts. Some of his favourite parts of Peace by PEACE as a mentor have included connecting with students and modifying lesson plans to better fit students' needs. As a Campus Director, he is looking forward to meeting new people and supporting the exec team!

Julie Chan (She/Her)
Co-Campus Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Julie is a fourth year student in the Specialized Honours Bachelor of Science program for psychology. She joined Peace by PEACE in her first year of university as a mentor, went on to be a Curriculum Director for two years. She loves the memories she has made in Peace by PEACE, including witnessing students' growth and building friendships with fellow execs and mentors. As a Campus Director this year, she hopes to help foster this positive experience for everyone involved in Peace by PEACE this year.

Kaylee Lie (She/Her)

Kaylee is in her fourth year of the French Studies Concurrent Education program at Glendon. She is also entering her fourth year with Peace by PEACE, having spent two years as a mentor and one year as a French Translation Director. This year, she is excited to continue contributing to the organization and collaborating with the team as an Executive Assistant.

Isabella Arriola (She/Her)
Curriculum Co-Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Isabella is a fourth year Psychology and Spanish student entering her second year with Peace by PEACE. She is excited to join the Curriculum Team, where she can help develop engaging lessons and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students. Isabella is passionate about education, mental health, and youth development. She looks forward to collaborating with her team and contributing to programs that inspire positive growth!

Jennifer Terpstra (She/Her)
Curriculum Co-Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Jennifer is in her third year of the Concurrent Education French program, pursuing a double major in French and English. This will be her second year with Peace by PEACE, and her favourite part of the program is the incredible sense of community. She loves how supportive everyone is and values the many opportunities and experiences PxP provides. This year, Jennifer is looking forward to collaborating with an incredible team to continue strengthening the curriculum and making a meaningful impact on students.

Leo Lafond (He/Him)
Schools Co-Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Leo is in his 4th year of French studies and Concurrent Education. Having previously been a mentor, this is Leo’s first year as Schools Director. He’s excited to assist in improving accessibility for both classrooms and Glendon students by increasing outreach rate and quality. He hopes to create more opportunity for students to commit to Peace by PEACE and for classrooms in need to have lower barriers of entry to a potentially life-changing curriculum.

Esther Ukpaka (She/Her)
Schools Co-Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Esther is a second-year student pursuing a major in International Studies and a minor in Public Administration. Inspired by the wonderful experience she had mentoring during her first year, she is returning as an executive with the goal of contributing meaningfully to the Peace by PEACE community. She hopes to collaborate with schools to expand the program’s reach and empower students with valuable conflict resolution and communication skills. Her favorite aspect of Peace by PEACE is its commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment for both mentors and students.

Grace Lam (She/Her)
Festival Co-Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Grace is going into her third year at Glendon in the Con-Ed program, majoring in French Studies and minoring in Psychology. She is also currently pursuing a TESOL Certification at the Keele campus. After mentoring for 2 years, she is super excited to be a Festival Director this year with her best friend, Larissa! She is looking forward to creating fun & memorable storylines and merch for this year’s festival, and is excited to grow closer to the lovely PXP exec team! :)

Sami is a fourth year Glendon student with a year of prior translation experience with PxP. This year, they will be supervisor for PxP's first translation practicum! They are also looking forward to working with the new translation team to continue to ensure an accessible, inclusive, and accurate translation of PxP's materials!

Arline Melina (She/Her)
French Translation Co-Director, York University - Glendon Campus
As a French Studies and Psychology student, Arline believes in the importance of understanding living beings and the influence of equitable sharing on a community's well-being. By joining Peace by PEACE, her role in translation provides her with the opportunity to utilize her language skills. She strives to deliver high-quality work while fostering a positive and inclusive team environment. Curious, committed, and motivated, Arline is constantly seeking to learn and make a meaningful contribution to the projects she undertakes.

Teoviel Sandrine Somda (She/Her)
French Translation Co-Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Teoviel Somda recently completed a Bachelor of Arts in Translation at Glendon. She previously earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from Université de Moncton. She is excited to join Peace By PEACE as a French Translation Director. In this role, she looks forward to applying her translation expertise to help make educational resources accessible to Francophone communities.

Lidiia Tesliuk (She/Her)
French Translation Co-Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Lidiia is in her second year of the Professional Translation program at Glendon and in her first year volunteering as a French Translation Director for PxP. She has over eight years of experience in education, teaching English and French. Passionate about translation, she is excited to contribute to PxP’s mission of helping more children access valuable tools for conflict resolution and community building.

Ioanna Kotsirilos (She/Her)
Fundraising Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Ioanna Kotsirilos is entering her third year at Glendon College, York University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies while completing a Master of Management at the Schulich School of Business. As she works toward a future legal career, her studies continue to strengthen her communication skills, cultural awareness, and commitment to advocating for diverse communities. Joining Peace by PEACE this year as Fundraising Director, Ioanna is excited to combine her passion for accessibility with innovative fundraising initiatives that foster inclusion and remove barriers to participation. She is especially looking forward to expanding the annual fundraising bake sale, building on its success to make it bigger, more engaging, and more impactful than ever before.

Jessica is getting into her third year of Political science at Keele campus and is an executive for the first time this year! After being a part of Peace by Peace for 2 years, this will be her first time being a marketing executive and she cannot wait for this amazing year ahead of her. She hopes to make the most of this year, especially as someone who is new to Glendon, she wishes to get more familiar with the place as well as the people here. She cannot wait for the Peace by Peace journey ahead of her!

Vince Ramos (He/Him)

Vince is going into his third year of Educational Studies at York University’s Keele Campus. He has been with Peace by PEACE since his first year of university, getting his start as a mentor then becoming the Keele branch’s Curriculum Director from 2025-2026. Vince hopes that this year with Peace by PEACE will be filled with joy; he hopes to make new friends through this new experience, as well as showcase this organization as a fun and rewarding experience for mentors and students!

Echo Grewal (They/Them)
Peaceball Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Echo is a third-year Psychology student at York University who has been involved with Peace by PEACE throughout their university journey. Through the program, they have had the opportunity to connect with others, grow as a mentor, and contribute to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for students. Their experience with Peace by PEACE has helped them develop their communication, leadership, and teamwork skills while learning from the people around them. They hope to continue growing within the program, building meaningful connections, and making a positive impact on the students and community they work with.

Katarina is going into her fourth year at Glendon majoring in Business Economics with a minor in French Studies. She is a returning finance executive, and is excited to start a new year with Peace by Peace.

Sarah Offor (She/Her)
Professional Development Co-Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Sarah is in her fourth year of French Studies and History at Glendon. After joining Peace by PEACE as a mentor in her first year, she fell in love with the program and its mission. Sarah is super excited to return to her role as the Professional Development Director this year, and help mentors prepare to spread the gift of PxP with our students :)

Darryl Legaspi (He/Him)
Professional Development Co-Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Darryl is in his second year of French Studies and Concurrent Education. This is his second year with PXP and his first year serving as an executive member. As a mentor last year, his favourite part of the program was helping students build confidence while developing valuable skills through engaging and interactive activities. He especially enjoyed supporting students as they learned to navigate conflict and strengthen their collaboration skills. As a Professional Development Director, Darryl is excited to help incoming mentors feel confident, well-prepared, and equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively teach and embody PXP's core values.

Crystal Lam (She/Her)
Mentors Co-Director, York University - Glendon Campus
Crystal is in her fourth year in the French Studies program with a minor in Mathematics. This is her third year with Peace by Peace, having previously been a part of the executive team and mentoring in a classroom last year. This year, she is excited to collaborate with the executive team to ensure that mentors have a smooth-sailing placement and enjoy their time in the classroom!

Ehvena is in her second year of French Studies and Concurrent Education with a minor in English. After mentoring in her first year, she is excited to join the executive team as a Mentors Director. As an aspiring teacher, she values Peace by PEACE's mission of teaching conflict resolution to children. This year, she is looking forward to supporting mentors, learning new things, and making a positive impact through the program.
