Somya is in her 4th year, double majoring in Psychology and Women & Gender Studies. Her favorite thing about peace by PEACE is working with the students and making new friends every year! She’s most excited about creating a positive impact in the classroom and continuing to build meaningful connections with her team and and mentors and the students they teach!

Rabia Mahboob (she/her)
Co-Campus Director, University of Toronto
Rabia is going into her 4th year at U of T, double majoring in Criminology and Sociology. She began working with Peace by PEACE as a mentor and loved the strong sense of community that was fostered across the partnering campuses as well as within the classrooms. In this upcoming year, she looks forward to continuing the organization’s goal of creating inclusive classrooms where students learn valuable conflict resolution skills in ways that are relevant and fun!

Manavi Goyal (she/her)

Harshita is in her third year of life sciences pursuing a double major in Human Biology and Physiology with an Immunology minor. She has previously been a professional development director and a mentor and is currently excited to take on this new role. She is looking forward to working with this wonderful team and creating an impact in GTA classroom conditions!

Sarah is a fourth-year student specializing in Industrial Relations and Human Resources, with a minor in English. Her favourite part about Peace by PEACE is meeting new people and being part of a team. With a strong passion for youth education, she is most excited to support children’s growth in the classroom by fostering youth empowerment and creating inclusive learning environments.

Golsa Sebti (she/her)
Finance Director, University of Toronto
Golsa is in her 5th year of study of Political Science, Philosophy and European Affairs. Her favourite part about PxP is seeing the positive impact it has on students and school communities. This year, she’s especially excited to get to know the exec team, be part of a fun and passionate group, and help create inclusive spaces through open conversations in the classroom.

Eshaal is in her fourth year pursing a double major in Sociology & Industrial Relations and Human Resources at UofT. This is her first time being involved with PxP. She is looking forward to working closely with the local community to contribute to a great cause, and working with a fantastic team to gain new skills and experiences along the way.

Mariam is entering her 4th year, studying International Relations, Economics and Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations. Vaidehi Desai (she/her)
Curriculum Director, University of Toronto
Vaidehi is a fourth-year Life Sciences student at the University of Toronto with a strong passion for mentorship and community impact. Over the past year, she has served as a Peace by PEACE mentor, where she has loved connecting with students and helping them build confidence and empathy. As this year’s Curriculum Director, Vaidehi is excited to design creative, engaging lessons that teach students crucial life skills through fun, hands-on games and activities, making learning both meaningful and memorable.

Curriculum Director, University of Toronto
With an eye for creativity and a passionate mindset, Angela is more than ready to take on the role of Curriculum Director. She is thrilled to be working in a team of empowering individuals, and knows that her experience as a mentor will help piece together a curriculum fitting the young minds of today. When she’s not doing PxP work, she’s a fourth year student double majoring in Neuroscience and English. And when she’s not stressing over assignments, she enjoys writing short stories, poems, and sketching imaginary characters.

Savita is in her 3rd year studying a double major in Political Science and Criminology with a minor in Cinema Studies. Her favourite aspect of Peace by PEACE is the opportunity to empower youth through creative and hands-on approaches to conflict resolution across diverse Toronto communities. This year, she is most excited about collaborating with the executive team throughout the year to execute meaningful initiatives while building stronger and lasting connections within the PxP community.
